Once- The world was cold and dark, empty and aching. There was not sound nor smell; imagine no physical perception past the void. God did what all good mothers do when their children are cold-she quilted her world a blanket.  Each piece of the quilt was unique and strategically placed to fit with the ones around it.  God held the pieces in place with golden thread that wound itself tightly and evenly through each piece.  The quilt kept her world warm and happy, full of light and feeling.
